it was all a dream
I’m not exaggerating when I say that last year’s trip to Nantucket still fills my cup. After nearly 10 months I still think about our time there and it feels like it was yesterday. It was out first vacation as a family of four - totally solo, without grandparents or extended family. It had been a long time since Frank and I really took a break. For work and other reasons we never went on a Honeymoon or a “babymoon” so this time away felt really special. It reminded me of how important it is to step away from the hustle of our every day lives once and a while, take a break, and reconnect.
I knew from the very first time I stepped foot on the island that it was a special place. It sounds cheesy but there is just something about the air there, it’s different than being in a tropical climate, you feel grounded. We first went two summers ago when Frank’s family rented a house. We were only there for three days but somehow it felt like so much longer. I knew I wanted/needed to go back. Last Spring I reached out to J Pepper Frazier, a premier real estate firm on the island and immediately connected with the team their. They were so incredible and found the perfect home for our family - walking distance to town, bicycles for us and the boys, it even had a playroom. Click here to see more photos of that home and our experience. It was a dream vacation.
This year we are planning on visiting the island again in early July and staying here. 26 Pine Street, which is available for rent and for sale, is newly renovated and located in the heart of Nantucket. I feel so lucky to be partnering with JPFCO again this summer. These days I dream about it on a DAILY BASIS :)
